VIA pc-1 PC Client Reference Design

The VIA pc-1 PC Client Reference Design is an optimized platform for networked computing that significantly reduces the Total Cost of Ownership for businesses, schools and communities in emerging markets. Through server-based operation, the VIA pc-1 PC Client enables greater security, reliability, scalability, energy efficiency and easy deployment while providing desktop performance and a rich digital media experience.

Powered by the power efficient VIA pc1000, VIA pc1500 and VIA pc2500 Platforms, and available in the E-Series and M-Series, VIA pc-1 PC Clients can operate under a variety of server-based environments such as Microsoft® Windows® and open source, and integrate 3D graphics, hardware MPEG-2 decoding acceleration and multi-channel audio to run all today’s key computing, productivity, Internet and entertainment applications. With multiple configurations and a selection of hardware upgrades, the VIA pc-1 PC Client offers maximum flexibility to system integrators.
